Acquia Certified Drupal Technical Lead (Hybrid Remote)

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and Acquia Certified Drupal Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of Drupal experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of Drupal architecture, custom module development, theming, and performance optimization. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding development teams, ensuring best practices are followed, and delivering high-quality Drupal solutions that meet client needs. This is a 6 month contract to hire and is onsite 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Drupal developers, guiding them through the design, development, and deployment of Drupal-based projects.
• Architecture & Design: Lead the architectural design and development of Drupal websites and applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Custom Module Development: Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal modules, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of each project.
• Theming & Front-End Integration: Oversee the implementation of Drupal theming and front-end integration, working closely with designers to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Drupal sites for performance, including database optimization, caching strategies, and efficient coding practices.
• Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide expert advice on Drupal capabilities and best practices.
• Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality and consistency of the codebase across all projects.
• Acquia Platform Expertise: Utilize your Acquia certification to manage and optimize projects on the Acquia platform, including cloud hosting, Acquia Cloud Site Factory, and other Acquia services.
• Project Management: Work closely with project managers to plan, estimate, and deliver projects on time and within scope, while managing technical risks and challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Drupal developments, Acquia services, and web technologies, and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance the team’s capabilities.

$70 - $85 an hour
