Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets to ensure financial resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
Analyze trends, prepare reports, and make recommendations to senior budget analysts or management.
Monitor direct and reimbursable programs to ensure ceilings are input into the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS).
Identify potential problems early to prevent adverse mission impact.
Analyze performance of direct and reimbursable programs, including their short- and long-term effects.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience is required.
Experience with G-Invoicing is required.
Experience working with Air Force budget is highly desired.
Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) experience is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.

As a Budget Analyst you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and analyzing budgets to ensure financial resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.

Duties

Analyzes trends, prepares reports, and makes recommendations to the senior budget analyst or management.
Monitors the direct and reimbursable programs to ensure ceilings are input into the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System is required (DEAMS).
Identifies potential problems to the Senior Budget Analyst and/or management early enough for them to be rectified to preclude adverse mission impact.
Analyzes performance of direct and reimbursable programs to include short- and long-term effects upon direct funded operating programs.
