Job Overview

We are looking for a Project Analyst to support the organization and coordination of specific projects. You will support & provide project oversight in ways that promote the company’s culture. You will align each project with specific business unit goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to gather & analyze data related to projects, write documentation, and communicate with stakeholders. The goal is to ensure that all projects deliver the critical outcomes that meet or exceed expectations and are on schedule. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop, organize, lead, and monitor specific projects.
• Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements within each project.
• Articulate and manage project metrics including outcomes, budget, and ROI.
• Manage and utilize resources across projects.
• Manage stakeholders’ communication.
• Identify market trends and opportunities for improvement to assist decision making.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout projects.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field

Experience

• Possess strong analytical and organizational skills to manage priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
• Balanced business/technical background

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with project management techniques and methods
• Familiarity with Agile principles – blending traditional project management practices with an Agile development approach to provide the appropriate level of agility and predictability
• Experience in a collaborative environment with success in relationship management
• Strong knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with program/project management software (MS Project, JIRA, Miro, etc.) is a strong advantage
• Strong written and verbal communications skills (to include presentation skills)
• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
• Industry knowledge of the insurance sector & related operational models is a strong advantage
