Summary

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess patients in a clinic setting.
• Enter appropriate information into electronic patient medical records.
• Communicate patient concerns to the physician.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses and promoting wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a doctor's office.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Additional training or education in integrative health, wellness, or nutrition preferred.
• License for Maryland and Virginia preferred; one is required.
• Experience with IVs.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays is required.

Benefits

• $115,000 - $125,000 a year
