Job Summary:
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a motivated Associate Director of Patient Recruitment or Director of Patient Recruitment to join our team remotely. This role will support and manage patient recruitment initiatives, collaborating with call center vendors and on-site recruitment teams to develop and execute effective recruitment plans for various clinical trial models.
This position can be based in any IMA office location or be a remote work-from-home role, anywhere in the US. It requires a willingness to travel up to 25% within North America for client meetings, audits, or site support as needed. This position is not considering candidates from New York City, Chicago, California, Colorado, or Washington states currently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee patient recruitment vendors, ensuring they meet patient population targets according to protocol design and execution strategy.
- Develop and implement patient recruitment plans for site-based, hybrid, community-based, and decentralized clinical trials (DCT).
- Lead and train Patient Recruitment Specialists, working closely with local site leadership to enhance community-based recruitment opportunities.
- Deliver and adjust recruitment and retention plans to align with contracted client goals and internal objectives.
- Ensure compliance by implementing and maintaining operational procedures and practices.
- Monitor and track team performance, attendance, certifications, training, and other records to ensure regulatory standards are met.
- Foster a culture of trust, teamwork, and respect across the Patient Recruitment team.
Client Relationship Management:
- Collaborate closely with Principal Investigators, Site Directors, and Project Leaders to align on client needs and project goals.
- Exhibit a proactive, positive attitude, taking initiative to support team and client goals.
- Manage multiple projects effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2-4 years of clinical research experience in patient recruitment, with a focus on site-level outreach (database, HCP referrals, community engagement).
- Strong leadership skills, including team management and operational oversight, with knowledge of drug discovery and development.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
