Cloud and Security Support Engineer (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Cloud and Security Support Engineer with a strong background in AWS Cloud Engineering and a passion for maintaining and enhancing cloud security. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working with AWS, implementing security best practices, and providing technical support in cloud environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure while providing exceptional support to our clients and internal teams. This position offers two days of remote work per week after initial 90 days.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security vulnerabilities.
• Assist in the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures.
• Security Implementation:
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards within AWS environments.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans of cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Technical Support:
• Provide tier 2/3 technical support for cloud-related issues and incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and security issues.
• Assist in the onboarding of new clients and provide ongoing technical assistance.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and operations teams to improve cloud deployment processes and security.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on cloud security initiatives and incidents.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, security trends, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within cloud operations.
