Cybersecurity Technical Writer (Top Secret Clearance Required)- Hybrid Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity or substantial technical writing experience in the cybersecurity domain. This role involves creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for various cybersecurity processes, procedures, and products. This position offers 2-3 days of remote work each week and requires an active Top Secret clearance or higher.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Documentation:
• Create, revise, and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including policies, procedures, user guides, and technical manuals.
• Develop documentation for cybersecurity tools, systems, and applications, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.
• Produce content that is tailored to different audiences, including technical staff, end-users, and management.
• Technical Writing:
• Translate complex technical information into easily understandable language for non-technical audiences.
• Ensure all documentation is well-organized, user-friendly, and adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy of documentation.
• Content Development:
• Develop training materials, presentations, and other educational content to support cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
• Create incident response guides and playbooks to assist in the organization's cybersecurity incident management.
• Draft security advisories, reports, and white papers on cybersecurity topics and trends.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams, IT staff, and other stakeholders to gather and understand technical information.
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and reviews to ensure documentation aligns with organizational goals and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all documentation.
• Quality Assurance:
• Review and edit documents for accuracy, grammar, style, and consistency.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing documentation to ensure it remains current and relevant.
• Implement and maintain documentation control processes to ensure the latest versions are always accessible.
