Electrical Engineering Tech Lead (SIC Experience)

Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of SiC-based power electronic converters, including DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters, and inverters.
• Conduct detailed analysis and simulation of power electronic systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop and implement control algorithms for SiC power electronic converters.
• Oversee the testing and validation of SiC power electronic components and systems to ensure they meet design specifications and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SiC power electronic systems into larger projects and applications.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SiC technology and power electronics.
• Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in design reviews, project planning, and risk assessments.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

• High level of expertise in silicon carbide (SiC) technology and power conversion.
• Proven track record of successful project leadership.

Benefits

• $140,000 - $200,000 a year salary range.
• Potential for 1-2 days remote work per week after 90 days.
