Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Email Developer to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and deploying email marketing campaigns. This role requires strong HTML/CSS skills, a keen eye for design, and experience with email marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and visually appealing email communications that drive customer engagement and conversions.
Responsibilities:
Email Design and Coding: Create visually appealing and responsive email templates using HTML and CSS. Ensure emails are compatible across various email clients and devices.
Campaign Deployment: Set up and deploy email campaigns using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools. Manage email lists, segmentation, and personalization to maximize campaign effectiveness.
A/B Testing: Develop and execute A/B tests to optimize email performance. Analyze results and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing of emails to ensure they render correctly across all major email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.) and devices. Troubleshoot and fix any rendering issues.
Content Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to source and incorporate relevant content into email campaigns. Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with brand guidelines.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.). Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team to inform future campaigns.
Compliance: Ensure all email communications comply with relevant regulations, such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR. Maintain best practices for email deliverability and list management.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with email marketing trends, tools, and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance email design, functionality, and performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in email development and marketing.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS; knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot).
Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-client compatibility.
Familiarity with email analytics tools and metrics.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
