Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage the security operations of our facility, ensuring compliance with government and internal regulations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Programs (SAP) while holding an active TS/SCI clearance. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can collaborate effectively with internal teams and government agencies to maintain the highest level of security.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility security matters, ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other relevant regulations.
Oversee and manage security clearances, ensuring personnel adhere to clearance requirements and guidelines.
Manage and safeguard classified information, including Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Programs (SAP).
Conduct security training and briefings for staff on topics such as classification management, OPSEC, and physical security.
Ensure compliance with government regulations related to secure facilities, including the implementation and management of security systems, access control, and surveillance.
Liaise with government agencies, including the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), to coordinate security audits and reviews.
Investigate and report security violations or incidents, providing corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain and update security documentation, including security plans, procedures, and records.
Support classified meetings, ensuring proper handling and protection of classified materials.
Manage facility inspections, including physical security assessments and IT system certifications for secure areas.
Oversee the safeguarding and transmission of classified information in accordance with DoD guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph if needed.
5+ years of experience working as an FSO, with specific experience in Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Programs (SAP).
In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, DoD regulations, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
Proven ability to manage multiple high-level security programs in a fast-paced, sensitive environment.
Experience conducting security audits, inspections, and investigations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to maintain comprehensive security records.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external government stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or equivalent security management certification.

Familiarity with automated security management systems and secure IT systems.
