Summary

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including system crashes and network connectivity problems.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
  • Perform hardware maintenance and repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Assist users in setting up new equipment and software, including providing training and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT issues and resolutions using help desk software.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Monitor systems proactively to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to IT security.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Good with traveling 75% of the time to client's locations.
  • 2+ years of help desk or service desk experience.
  • Professional IT Certifications such as CompTIA Net+.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and protocols.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Looking for an entry level Field Help Desk Technician.

Duties

    • Provide first-line technical support to end-users (both in-person and remotely) regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including system crashes, software defects, and network connectivity problems.
    • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
    • Perform hardware maintenance and repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

    • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to assist in projects and initiatives as needed.
