Field IT Engineer (Primarily Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MSP IT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Windows Servers (On-premise) and Azure Cloud environments, coupled with expertise in Disaster Recovery Planning. The candidate should also possess significant experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of client support, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement. This position is primarily remote with travel 1 day a week in the Baltimore, MD area to visit clients.

Responsibilities:

• Windows Server Management:
• Proficient in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows Servers in on-premise environments.
• Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Windows Server infrastructure.
• Azure Cloud Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, including deployment, management, and optimization.
• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and cost management in Azure environments.
• Disaster Recovery Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Conduct regular testing and refinement of disaster recovery procedures.
• MSP Industry Experience:
• Work closely with clients to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
• Deliver top-notch customer support and maintain client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance:
• Implement robust monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the health and performance of IT infrastructure.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and client environments.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, security, and compliance.
