Position Overview: As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint-based solutions to support our clients' business objectives. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality SharePoint applications and sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SharePoint development, a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture and capabilities, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Architecture:
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design SharePoint solutions that align with their needs and objectives.
Develop solution architectures, site hierarchies, and information architectures to support effective content management and collaboration.
Custom Development and Configuration:
Customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and other development tools.
Develop custom web parts, event receivers, timer jobs, and other SharePoint components using .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
Integration and Data Migration:
Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems, applications, and data sources using APIs, web services, and middleware solutions.
Plan and execute data migration projects to migrate content from legacy systems and repositories to SharePoint.
User Interface Design and User Experience (UI/UX):
Design and implement user-friendly and intuitive interfaces for SharePoint sites and applications.
Ensure adherence to best practices for UI/UX design, accessibility, and usability.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of SharePoint solutions.
Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks through troubleshooting and debugging.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
6+ years of experience in SharePoint development, including custom development, configuration, and administration.
Proficiency in SharePoint development tools and technologies, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 development.
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and capabilities, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
Experience with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
