Summary

Responsibilities

  • Process journal entries and perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and related depreciation schedules.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Handle monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.
  • Manage processing of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist with the annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with tax return preparation.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of the company's financial information.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, accounting best practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional accounting experience with general ledgers and reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting procedures.
  • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
