A practitioner who accelerates outcomes, affects positive change, and moves business forward.</span><p><strong style="font-size:12px;"><em>GCP Application Modernization Lead Architect </em></strong><p><span style="font-size:12px;">We are seeking a dynamic technology leader to join our GCP Platform team as the GCP Application Modernization Lead. This role will be pivotal in building and delivering Modern Application Architecture capabilities and solutions to internal and external clients, ensuring the successful transformation of legacy applications into robust, scalable, and modern GCP cloud-based workloads and services. Reporting to the Director of GCP Platform, this role will lead the development, sales, solution, and delivery of GCP Application Modernization capabilities. You will lead a team of Sr. Cloud Architects and Engineers to build and deliver GCP Application Modernization capabilities, ensuring our customers' high scalability, availability, security, and efficiency. This role will be accountable for ensuring delivery excellence and providing thought leadership to Our customers’ executive and technical leadership. </span><p><em style="font-size:12px;">GCP Application Modernization Strategy and Development: </em><p><span style="font-size:12px;">In this role, you will lead the development of GCP Application Modernization offerings for customers' Cloud-native and Cloud-agnostic needs, which need to be focused on accelerated public cloud adoption. This includes but is not limited to use cases such as legacy monolithic to microservices, GCP serverless, modern container platforms, etc.</span><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Capabilities Development:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Develop and lead the application modernization strategy, focusing on migrating and transforming legacy systems to GCP.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Go-to-market Strategy:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">You will be responsible for developing and managing GCP Application Modernization capabilities, go-to-market strategy, and prioritization.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:12px;">3Innovation and Best Practices:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">As a leader of the program, you are required to drive innovation and the adoption of modern application architecture and best practices in GCP cloud, ensuring our solutions are at the forefront of industry standards.</span></li></ul><p><em style="font-size:12px;">GCP Application Modernization Sales & Solutioning:</em><p><span style="font-size:12px;">In this role, you will partner with the TGS Sales team to engage with TEKsystems customers to understand their technical challenges and provide expert solutions and architectural pathways to achieve modernization goals. You will work closely with customer leadership, solution architects, and sales to ensure the right solution is provided for customer needs.</span><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Solution Oversight & Ownership:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">As a GCP Application Modernization Lead, you will be responsible for GCP offerings and Go-to-market strategy and will be held accountable for providing oversight during the presales cycle, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Sales Collaboration:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">As a GCP Application Modernization Lead, you will partner with the TEKsystems Sales team to provide guidance on GTM strategy and customer communications.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:12px;">GCP Application Modernization Service Delivery:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">In this role, you will work closely with TEKsystems delivery teams to ensure customer engagements are delivered seamlessly.</span></li></ul><p><strong style="font-size:12px;"><em>Qualifications:</em></strong><p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Must be highly skilled in GCP Application Modernization Strategy and Development, GCP Application Modernization Sales & Solutioning, GCP Application Modernization Service Delivery, Team Leadership, and Professional Experience:</span></p><ul><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">7+ years of relevant professional experience in Software development and application modernization with a focus on cloud platforms, particularly GCP.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">3+ years of experience in Application Architecture with GCP cloud-native services.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Proven experience leading Application development teams, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or team lead role.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">At least 3 years of leading GCP cloud migration & modernization experience.</span></li><li><strong style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;"><em><u>At least 3 years in IT consulting and IT services organizations.</u></em></strong></li></ul><p><strong style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;"><em>Cloud Platforms and Technology Experience:</em></strong></p><ul><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Expertise and in-depth knowledge of GCP Services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Networking.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Experience with microservices, containerization and serverless architecture.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CICD Pipelines.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Experience with full-stack application design and architecture in either Java/.Net technology stacks.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL. </span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-size:12px;">Must be a GCP Architect.</span></li></ul><p><strong style="font-size:12px;"><em>Summary of our benefits:</em></strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><a href="https://www.teksystems.com/en/careers/benefits" style="font-size:12px;">https://www.teksystems.com/en/careers/benefits</a><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><p><span style="font-size:12px;">We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
