Required Experience: 5+ Years

Position Description

Exeter is looking for a Help Desk Technician to work Southern Command headquarters in Doral FL. Successful candidate will develop computer systems specifications that address business requirements and fit with company/customer system architecture standards; work with team to communicate issues and troubleshoot as needed; resolve issues by utilizing knowledge of software and hardware, and work in a cleared and mission-oriented environment. Support provided is to keep key IT systems up and running which are critical to keeping mission on track; very important task and mission!

Primary Responsibilities

· Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems
· Receives calls and records user data using ServiceNow ticketing system
· Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
· May enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices
· Apply skillset to a multitude of peripheral devices as you troubleshoot issues
· Gathers data for creation of user accounts and guides new users through mandatory training

Required Qualifications

· TS with SCI Eligibility – can start with SECRET clearance
· High School or GED equivalent preferred
· 8570 IAT Level II and Microsoft MD 102 or higher cert

Desired Qualifications/Experience

· Customer Support and ServiceNow experience a plus
