We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and leadership skills, ensuring that the housekeeping team meets high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position is a 6 month contract to hire, hours Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities:

    • Supervision: Oversee and direct the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
    • Training and Development: Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance their skills. Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
    • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage, taking into consideration peak periods and special events. Coordinate with other departments to meet overall operational needs.
    • Quality Control: Inspect rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards. Address any deficiencies promptly and take corrective action.
    • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping supplies and equipment. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials and amenities.
    • Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Work to resolve issues and ensure a positive guest experience.
    • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety and hygiene standards, ensuring that housekeeping staff follows proper procedures and uses appropriate protective equipment. Report any safety hazards or incidents.
    • Budget Oversight: Assist in budget planning and manage the housekeeping budget effectively. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
    • Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and communication for efficient hotel operations.
