Summary

Responsibilities

• Review English to Korean patent translations and monitor resource performance.
• Evaluate files provided by Korean patent suppliers and implement KO LQA planning.
• Maintain and update language assets such as glossaries and translation memories for Korean legal translations.
• Monitor KO team expenditures and manage budgets.
• Support the quality team in reviewing IRB forms and conducting RCA for legal translations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of English to Korean patent translation experience.
• Understanding of machine translation (MT) and proficiency in using CAT tools.
• Familiarity with Korean patent law and ability to create Hlt, Hlz, and Fin files using KO NK-Editor.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent oral and written communication skills.
