Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lateral Attorney Recruiting Manager to join our recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lateral attorney recruitment and a deep understanding of the legal industry. The Lateral Attorney Recruiting Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain top lateral attorney talent, managing the recruitment process, and building relationships with key stakeholders. This position offers 3 days remote work per week.

Responsibilities:

    • Recruitment Strategy:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive lateral attorney recruitment strategies to meet the firm's hiring needs.
    • Identify and target potential candidates through various sourcing methods, including networking, referrals, social media, and legal recruiting agencies.
    • Monitor legal market trends and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
    • Candidate Management:
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for lateral attorney candidates, from initial contact through offer acceptance and onboarding.
    • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit with the firm's culture.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with practice group leaders and other stakeholders.
    • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with lateral attorney candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with legal recruiters, law schools, and professional organizations to enhance the firm's recruitment efforts.
    • Collaborate with practice group leaders and senior management to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
    • Process Management:
    • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring timely and efficient handling of all recruitment activities.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and status in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress to senior management.
    • Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and firm policies.
    • Stay informed about best practices in legal recruiting and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract a diverse pool of lateral attorney candidates.
    • Onboarding:
    • Work closely with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new lateral attorney hires.
    • Provide support and guidance to new hires during their transition to the firm.
