Summary
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle leave administration for all assigned clients.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing high volume of Leaves of Absence administration.

Our Newest Opportunity:
We are in search of an individual to join our growing Leave of Absence Services team. This individual will be dedicated to providing excellent service and reliable administration to employers who have chosen to outsource their Leave of Absence administration to OneDigital. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients from various industries to help streamline their process, provide guidance, and day-to-day support for their leave of absence administration needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Manage the full cycle leave administration for all assigned clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with their HR and benefits teams, managers, employees, and corporate counsel as needed.
- Effectively support all LOA administration cases to include general administration and compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations related to leaves including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL, USERRA, ADA/ADAAA, and company specific leave programs such as Paid Parental Leave.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely responses while offering education along with expert guidance to all potential leave of absence inquiries.
- Monitor and identity opportunities for efficiencies within the client’s and OneDigital’s leave processes to ensure they are efficient and compliant.
- Assist with the onboarding process of new clients which may include attending implementation meetings, reviewing company policies, and supporting the team to organize and input necessary information for the new client partnership.
- Participate in and support the team with specific projects as it relates to leave administration and compliance.
- Work closely with clients to provide suggestions and guidance as it relates to leave policy, processes and specific employee scenarios that may need additional attention.
- Coach managers on leave policy and processes and properly engage with employees in the interactive process and accurately document the process concerning reasonable accommodations.
- Provide Leave of Absence reports to clients ad hoc and as scheduled.
- Attend educational webinars and workshops to continue to stay up to date on the changing environment of leave of absence administration.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Demonstrates proven project management skills and the ability to multi-task by managing the moving parts and priorities of multiple clients.
- A sense of urgency and exceptional communication skills (oral and written) with a desire to build long, lasting relationships.
- Innovative, adaptable collaborator able to adjust focus and attend quickly to changes in team priorities.
- Sound judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government (Federal and State) law.
- Detail oriented with strong research and analytical skills and the interest in continued growth and learning.
- The ability to work with a variety of personalities at all levels throughout the firm.
- Independent judgment, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
Education, Training and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing high volume of Leaves of Absence administration for mid to large size companies with employees in multiple states.
- Experience working with a variety of clients including C-level executives.
- Technology background experience in benefit administration, payroll or HRIS reporting systems.
- Strong Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations related to leaves including FMLA, state specific entitlements, USERRA, ADA/ADAAA, company specific leave programs and all associated wage replacement options.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and with a focus on Excel reporting functionalities and leave of absence management systems. Experience with AbsenceSoft a plus.
- Ability to speak and write in Spanish a plus.
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $68,000 to $78,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
