Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient LMS Specialist with experience in using Lectora to join our eLearning and training team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Learning Management System (LMS), developing and deploying eLearning content, and ensuring a seamless learning experience for users. This role requires strong knowledge of LMS platforms, expertise in Lectora, and a passion for creating engaging and effective online training materials.
Responsibilities:
LMS Administration:
Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning properly.
Configure and customize the LMS to meet organizational needs, including user management, course enrollment, and reporting.
Provide technical support to LMS users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
eLearning Content Development:
Develop, edit, and publish eLearning content using Lectora, ensuring courses are interactive, engaging, and meet instructional design standards.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop course materials, assessments, and multimedia elements.
Convert existing training materials into eLearning modules that are compatible with the LMS.
Content Management & Deployment:
Upload, organize, and manage eLearning courses and training materials within the LMS.
Ensure that content is SCORM or AICC compliant and functions correctly across various platforms and devices.
Monitor and report on course usage, completion rates, and learner progress.
Training & Support:
Provide training and guidance to instructors, administrators, and users on how to effectively use the LMS and Lectora.
Develop user guides, FAQs, and other support materials to assist learners and administrators.
Conduct regular training sessions and webinars to keep users informed of new features and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in the LMS and eLearning content.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in eLearning technologies and instructional design.
Implement enhancements and updates to the LMS and eLearning content based on user feedback and technological advancements.
Reporting & Analytics:
Generate reports on learner activity, course completion, and assessment results for management and stakeholders.
Analyze LMS data to identify trends, gaps in training, and opportunities for content optimization.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness of the training programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in LMS administration and eLearning content development, with specific expertise in using Lectora.
Strong understanding of LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas) and eLearning standards (e.g., SCORM, AICC).
Proficiency in using Lectora for creating interactive and multimedia-rich eLearning content.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
