Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing Industry Experience)- Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes, as well as improving existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. This is a 3 month contract to hire and is hybrid 2 days remote per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems for new and existing products
• Conduct research to identify new technologies and materials that can improve manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product designs are manufacturable
• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical failures or production issues
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes
