Job Summary

Elements Connect is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build and develop user-friendly digital products and contribute to various aspects of software design and development.

Responsibilities

• Mobile App Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter for both Android and iOS platforms
• Flutter Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of Flutter to create efficient and visually appealing mobile UIs
• Cross-Platform Development: Write clean, maintainable code that can be easily shared across platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience
• UI/UX Collaboration: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications and create a seamless and visually appealing user interface
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth and responsive app behavior
• API Integration: Integrate with backend APIs and services, ensuring data is retrieved and displayed accurately
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, identify and fix bugs, and ensure app reliability and stability
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, workflows, and project specifications
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest Flutter developments, best practices, and emerging trends in mobile app development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• Proven experience as a Mobile Software Engineer with a strong focus on Flutter development
• Proficiency in Dart programming language
• Hands-on experience with Flutter's core principles and best practices
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns
• Knowledge of mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code
• A portfolio of previous Flutter projects is a plus
