The role
We are hiring an Options Trader to join Binance OTC team. The team is responsible for spot and derivatives OTC trading desk, agency execution, and API liquidity solutions. The Options Trader will be part of a fast growing business, fast-paced environment, and play a key role in expanding the volumes and revenue of the trading desk.
The expected tasks will be, but not limited to:
Manage the trade flow and risk of the options book flow, calibrate the electronic trading algorithm parameters and risk controls, and handle trade hedge executions.
Be responsible to enhance the trading algorithms strategy design, and identify new trading opportunities.
Work closely with other traders, research, and development stakeholders to continuously optimize PnL, trade strategies, and the overall trade desk operation.
Provide OTC spot and derivatives desk coverage during EMEA hours by operating the trade executions and settlements.
Work with VIP sales team, and engage with external clients during the trade lifecycle.
Engage with trade operations to ensure accurate trade booking and reconciliations.
Support the business strategy analysis and product design of new services, and perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the business.
Requirements:
Strong academic track record, preferably in an Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent degree.
5+ years of relevant trading experience in financial derivatives/options from top tier banks or quantitative trading firms.
Solid grasp on risk/ portfolio management, options pricing models, and risk management.
Knowledge of electronic trading systems and execution algorithms.
Good understanding of the OTC trade lifecycle, OTC pricing, and execution methods.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Self-motivated and highly independent.
Strong communication skills to proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders across different cultures and geographies.
Programming skillset is required (Python and SQL)
Experience/interest in the crypto/DeFi industry is a big plus.
