Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP Developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP, MySQL, and related technologies. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Feature Implementation: Implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements. Collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure features meet user needs and specifications.
Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies. Ensure data integrity and performance.
API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications. Develop and maintain custom APIs as needed.
Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security. Identify and resolve issues promptly.
Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and APIs. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in PHP development. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance development processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components. Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and discussions.
Maintenance: Monitor and maintain existing web applications. Implement updates, bug fixes, and enhancements as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in PHP development.
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and related technologies.
Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
