Plumbing Design Engineer (MEP Industry Experience)- Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Design Engineer with experience in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing design and a thorough understanding of MEP systems. The Plumbing Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and coordinating plumbing systems for various projects, ensuring they meet all requirements and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate plumbing systems for building projects, including sanitary waste and vent, domestic water, and stormwater systems.
• Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure plumbing systems are integrated with other building systems.
• Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing systems and ensure design requirements are met.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors and vendors.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and junior engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to plumbing design.
