Summary

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop power electronic circuits and systems, including DC-DC converters, solid state transformers, and high-speed motor drives.
  • Create and optimize PCB layouts for power electronics, ensuring minimal noise and interference while maintaining efficiency.
  • Design and test DSP digital control algorithms.
  • Perform simulations and analysis to validate circuit performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and troubleshooting.
  • Review and analyze circuit designs and PCB layouts to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Develop and document design specifications, test procedures, and other technical documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be U.S Citizen due to having the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance for government projects.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, plus if already have one.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in Power Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Experience with designing and testing SiC based power electronic converter topologies is required.
  • Have the ability to design and test low and medium voltage.
  • Worked with Navy is a plus.
