Position Overview: We are looking for a Practice Assistant who will play a vital role in our firm’s operations. This position involves a blend of administrative support, client interaction, and document management to ensure the smooth functioning of our legal practice. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support including organizing and managing legal documents, files, and correspondence.
Handle client interactions by scheduling meetings, managing appointments, and responding to inquiries.
Assist in the preparation and proofreading of legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
Support case management by tracking case files, deadlines, and ensuring all relevant information is up-to-date.
Coordinate day-to-day office operations including managing office supplies and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
Previous experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a legal environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal management software is a plus.
Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
