Position: Process Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to lead and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and quality within our organization.
Responsibilities: As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems. You will conduct analysis and simulations to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process changes, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and work instructions. Additionally, you will participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, and support the commissioning and validation of new processes and equipment. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our manufacturing operations.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in process engineering or a related field, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD software.
Strong understanding of chemical processes, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement techniques.
Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EPA) and safety standards.
Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and validation protocols.
Project management experience and leadership skills
