Summary

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Quality Control Plan per contract requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate re-work with the project superintendent and subcontractors.
  • Assist with inspections and special testing requirements.
  • Identify, address, and resolve constructability risks.
  • Support the superintendent in managing on-site employees and subcontractors.
  • Document daily activities in detail.
  • Maintain relationships with inspectors, clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in project bidding, budgeting, subcontractor selection, and schedule creation.
  • Organize and maintain all contract documents.
  • Provide input during progress meetings on upcoming work and potential conflicts.
  • Supervise the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to the jobsite.
  • Ensure compliance of delivered materials and equipment with contract documents.
  • Evaluate workforce, material, and equipment needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as Quality Manager and/or Construction Manager on Federal Projects.
  • 5+ years of GovCon Experience.
  • 5+ years as a Safety Officer on construction projects.
  • Experience with quality programs, government agency processes, and structures construction.
  • Ability to converse clearly and concisely in meetings related to technical issues and quality.
