As Atlan accelerates its growth in the Data & AI Governance sector, the Director of Sales for the West region in North America will play a pivotal role in driving our regional expansion. This newly created position marks our first dedicated regional sales leader in the West. By assembling and leading a top-performing team that embodies excellence and discipline, this leader will be crucial to sustaining and amplifying our hyper-growth.

You will oversee the execution of our sales strategy, ensuring mastery of every stage of the sales process and making informed decisions based on data. By cultivating a culture of growth, accountability, and positive competition, you will contribute to solidifying Atlan's leadership in the Data & AI governance sector.

The Mission

    • Drive Revenue Growth: Lead the net new business team to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding Atlan’s market presence.
    • Pipeline Management: Ensure a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through combination ofpartner, and inbound motions. Drive excellence in our introduction and discovery process to build and maintain momentum in the customer journey 
    • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement effective sales methodologies including Command of the Message, MEDDPICC, and coach and develop team members based on data driven feedback systems.
    • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
    • Customer Engagement: Act as a strategic partner for key accounts, understanding their business challenges and goals to position Atlan’s solutions effectively.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize sales processes, drive product enhancements, and ensure seamless customer experiences.
    • Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
