We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to join our team and support the successful execution of a data warehousing project. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the integration of SAP HANA data into a new Snowflake data warehouse. You will collaborate closely with our data team, providing expertise on the SAP modules and underlying data model, ensuring that relevant data is efficiently extracted and transformed for use in the Snowflake environment. While your primary focus will be on SAP, knowledge of integration of SAP data into Snowflake, modelling the SAP ERP data within Snowflake and transforming data within Snowflake for analytics consumption will be beneficial.

Role & Responsibilities:

Provide in-depth knowledge of SAP HANA data models, specifically related to the modules used for Centralized Financial operations
Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA modules, with a primary focus on centralized financial operations for North America.
Extract and manage data from various S/4HANA modules, ensuring accurate and efficient reporting, sales order processing, accounting, and financial analysis.
Collaborate with the data team to map, extract, and integrate SAP HANA data into the Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and consistency
Act as a liaison between the SAP team and the wider data team, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across systems.
Document the SAP data structures, data extraction processes, and data integration, as required, to ensure transparency and repeatability
As applicable, assist in the design and build-out of the data warehouse, leveraging your data engineering or data modeling experience.

Hard Skills - Must have:

Deep knowledge of SAP HANA, particularly in relation to modules associated with Financial Operations such as sales order processing, accounting, and reporting.
Proven experience in data extraction, reporting, and analytics within the SAP environments.
Familiarity with SAP Production & Logistics modules and the respective data model for data extraction and integration.
Demonstrated ability to lead SAP implementations and optimizations, and/or SAP Data integrations with external data stores such as Snowflake.
Deep understanding of how data is structured within SAP HANA for relevant modules. This involves good understanding of tables, views, and key relationships within SAP.
Prior experience utilizing SAP's native tools, such as SAP Data Services or SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation), for real-time data extraction from SAP HANA into external environments like Snowflake.
Familiarity with standard APIs, OData services, and SAP HANA SDA/SDI.

Hard Skills - Nice to have/It's a plus:

Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Experience with SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and its integration with other SAP.
Professional certification in SAP S/4HANA or related SAP modulesmodules.

Soft Skills / Business Specific Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
Experience in managing full project lifecycles, from requirement gathering to post-implementation support.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
