Senior Accountant (Healthcare Industry Experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with healthcare industry experience to join our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the full cycle accounting process, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, along with specific experience in the healthcare industry. This is a 6 month contract to hire.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle accounting process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis
• Assist with audits and financial reviews as needed
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
