Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in healthcare accounting and proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains accounting software. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Two days remote work a week after initial onboarding period.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures
Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
Assist in budget preparation and management activities
Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
Develop and maintain financial databases

$70,000 - $90,000 a year
