Lead materials characterization and test programs to certify design materials for Aerospace products.
Deliver professional, complete, and timely drawings and report documents for proposals, submittals, and project designs.
Analyze material testing data and generate materials models for use in product design.
Perform export classifications of materials and associated technical documents.
Explain material qualification results to leadership and peers.
Conduct independent research to discover materials engineering solutions.
Mentor engineers through problem-solving of aerospace materials and processes.
Develop and execute design of experiments using computational materials software.

10+ years of related experience.
Knowledge in advanced composites.
Strong knowledge of aerospace and structural analysis.
Security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
GovCon experience preferred.
Experience leading project teams in developing materials solutions.
Depth of knowledge in Aerospace materials, composites, ceramics, and engineering plastics.

10+ years of related experience.
Have knowledge in advanced composite is required.
Strong knowledge with aerospace and structural analysis.
Has a Security clearance or clearable for one.
GovCon experience is preferred.
Demonstrable experience leading project teams in developing materials solutions and/or problem-solving complex materials challenges.
Depth of knowledge in Aerospace materials.
Depth of knowledge in Aerospace composites, ceramics, and engineering plastics.

$150,000 - $170,000 a year
