Responsibilities:
Electrical Design: Design and develop electrical systems, components, and products for a range of applications, including power distribution, lighting, controls, and instrumentation. Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
Specification Development: Develop technical specifications, requirements, and performance criteria for electrical components, equipment, and materials. Research and select appropriate components and suppliers based on project requirements, cost considerations, and quality standards.
System Integration: Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems with overall project designs. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into building designs and infrastructure projects.
Code Compliance: Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE). Perform code analysis, calculations, and reviews to verify compliance and obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.
