Responsibilities:
Contract Administration: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation to contract execution, implementation, and closeout. Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Contract Development: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and amendments with customers, vendors, suppliers, and other parties. Ensure contracts accurately reflect the terms and conditions agreed upon by all parties and mitigate risks.
Contract Compliance: Monitor contract performance and compliance with contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables. Identify and address any deviations or discrepancies in contract execution and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Risk Management: Assess risks associated with contract terms, pricing, scope of work, and other factors. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize exposure and protect the organization's interests.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization. Evaluate vendor performance and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation, including contract files, correspondence, amendments, and approvals. Ensure contracts are properly executed, recorded, and archived in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports, certifications, and disclosures as required by contract terms, regulatory agencies, or government entities. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation for reporting purposes.
Contract Training and Education: Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract policies, procedures, and best practices. Offer support and assistance to business units in interpreting contract terms and resolving contract-related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or related field.
10+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or related roles.
Strong understanding of contract law, principles, and practices.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Professional certification in contract management level 3 required
$125,000 - $140,000 a year
