Description
PingWind/Exeter is looking for qualified candidates to fil the role in support of CENTCOM J6 at Mac Dill AFB FL. This position involves implementing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for network monitoring and security compliance to detect and prevent anomalous activities. The role also focuses on automating and improving business processes related to ACAS.
Responsibilities
路 Configuration of discovery, vulnerability, and compliance scans
路 Validation of correct scan execution and automated reporting
路 Review of discovery scan results to identify systems not being vulnerability scanned and automated reporting
路 Review of vulnerability scan results to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential and other common scan issues, and automated reporting
路 Review and compile scan results to support asset inventory requirements and automation
路 Work closely with system administrators to maintain a minimum 98% credentialed access to all systems
路 Assessment of scan results to identify areas where vulnerability remediation has the greatest impact on risk and automated reporting
路 Configuration of ACAS components to align with DISA best practice guidance
路 Troubleshooting and resolution of communications issues between ACAS software components, failed plugin updates, and other common software issues
路 Automated reporting to external organizations via built-in publishing feature
路 Maintain automated ACAS reporting to CMRS
路 Conduct new hardware and software audits to confirm cyber hygiene of new systems before they are deployed to production
路 Provide ACAS scanning support for Risk Management Framework authorizations
路 Brief leadership weekly on vulnerability finding results across the enterprise
