We are seeking a Senior Node.js Backend Developer who will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new back-end features for our platform. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to various stages of the project lifecycle, working within an agile team environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and implementation of backend services.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Core Skills:
8+ years of experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js.
Proficient in building and maintaining data-driven REST APIs.
Experience with DyanmoDB, including advanced querying and optimization.
Strong understanding of secure API development practices, including knowledge of token-based authentication and integration with mobile applications.
Familiarity with Git for version control, including proficiency in handling pull requests, merging, and branching.
Experience working in Agile development environments, with a good understanding of Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in remote work settings.
Ability to work independently and adapt to unstructured or dynamic work environments.
Availability to collaborate during Melbourne business hours.

Desirable Skills:
Development experience on AWS and Terraform.
Knowledge of, or experience in, the banking or payments domain, understanding the specific requirements and regulations in this sector.
