Our client has an exciting opportunity for Senior Power BI Developer Customization Expert. 

 

Job Summary:  

We are looking for Power BI expert. We have reports that go past what power BI out of the box can handle. Experience with custom Power BI functionality and integration is extremely important. The job will entail analyzing, designing, integrating, and implementing reports, along with establishing good practices for the team to follow. Part of the job will also be sharing and training the team on Power BI custom capabilities and report designs. 

 

Responsibilities and Job Requirements:  

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools 
  

• Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights 
  

• Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI 
  

• Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently 
  

• Analyze data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making 
  

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks 
  

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis 
  

• Perform complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI 
  

• Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations 
  

• Make technical changes to existing BI systems in order to enhance their functioning 
  

• Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, and more 
  

• Apply detailed knowledge of clinical data and terms used in clinical trials, the clinical trials process, SOPs, and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) regulations, to ensure compliance. 
  

• Adhere to SOPs for computer system validation and all GCP (Good Clinical Practice) regulations. Respond promptly to requests from Validation/Test team for documentation or bug fixes. 
  

• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex DAX formulas. 
  

• Able to manage development, testing, and production environments using deployment pipelines. 
  

• Proficiency in creating detailed paginated reports. 
  

• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting

• Custom Visualizations:
  - Experience in researching, recommending, and integrating third-party tools and the ability to develop visualization using the same.

Requirements 

• Senior level experience with PowerBI and custom functionality and integration (8+ years of experience) 
  

• Industry experience: pharma required, CRO preferred 
  

• Experience with oncology data, preferred 
  

• Self-starter, senior level experience, can self-manage 
  

• Excellent communication and ability to train team members 
  

• Experience with Power BI Integration into a hosted web site 
  

• Experience Programming in DAX 
  

• Ability to create Custom Visualizations 
  

• Experience Data Modeling 
  

• Experience with M Language 
  

 

Other Details: 

• Full-time, 40 hours per week in Eastern Standard Time (EST) 
  

• Contract: 12 months w/ renewal 
  

• Fully remote
