  • Leads Program Management and Scrum teams on project priorities.
  • Writes user stories with acceptance criteria for engineering.
  • Works closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing technology, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Product Manager in the Automotive Aftermarket Parts eCommerce segment.
  • 5 or more years working in Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Strong business acumen and creative strategic mindset.
  • Strong Go-to-Market (GTM) experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and solve problems.
  • Engaging presentation skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Job Summary Identifies new, innovative initiatives for the Collision team to help drive existing and new Automotive Aftermarket eCommerce product offerings in the market. Key Responsibilities  1. Leads market research for the Collision Automotive Aftermarket team including customer surveys, competitive analysis, and debriefs to inform direction for the product roadmap. 2. Performs discovery with customers and stakeholders to understand needs of the marketplace to support prioritization activities. Uses data to develop high-quality insights into our customer's user experience and needs. 3. Helps define the Collision Automotive Aftermarket related product strategy based on market input and Voice of the Customer (VoC) that aligns with overall strategic direction. 4. Collaborates with customer facing teams to help enable teams to sell, implement and support the product. 5. Develops and manages select relationships with Automotive Aftermarket Manufacturers, third parties, and other external industry professionals. 6. Develops a technical product strategy for our ingress layer, and translate it into creative, high quality, features, and initiatives. 7. Creates and maintains collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organization to develop a deep understanding of our business, and continually iterates on product strategy. 8. Builds and grooms a prioritized product backlog effectively by leading negotiation and trade-off discussions with key partners. 9. Leads Program Management and Scrum teams towards the right priorities. Sets clear expectations on projects, product launches, and coordinated release plans. 10. Writes excellent user-stories, with thoughtful acceptance criteria, that can be translated into engineering features. Partners with UX team in developing stories that will provide the optimal customer experience based on research and customer feedback/validation. 11. Works closely with the engineering teams to design, schedule, and deliver in an Agile environment. Education A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in business, marketing technology, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree. Experience At least 4 years of experience as a Product Manager in the Automotive Aftermarket Parts eCommerce segment, and 5 or more years working in Software as a Service (SaaS). Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities: · Strong business acumen skills with the ability to see a big picture view and communicate value and benefits of solutions. · Creative and strategic mindset to help drive products forward. · Strong Go-to-Market (GTM) experience. · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with key customers and establish collaborative relationships within and across internal teams on moderate to complex projects. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor communications to a specific audience or call to action. · Able to apply principles of critical thinking to collect data, draw valid conclusions, consider options, recommend solutions, and solve problems. · Engaging presentation skills with the ability to effectively speak to and interact with various sizes/types of audiences in a professional and easy to understand manner. · Organized and detailed orientated and can manage multiple priorities. Travel Occasional travel for this position is required and anticipated to be approximately up to 20% of the time.
