About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior SharePoint Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions that meet the business needs of our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to ensure that our SharePoint environments are robust, secure, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions, including workflows, web parts, and integrations with other systems.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
Maintain and enhance existing SharePoint sites and applications to improve functionality and user experience.
Implement best practices for SharePoint governance, security, and information architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint performance, connectivity, and configuration.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and SOPs.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, particularly in relation to the Public Trust Security Clearance.
Qualifications:
Required Clearance: Must possess a current Public Trust Security Clearance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in SharePoint development, including experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016/2019.
Strong proficiency in SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Visual Studio, and PowerShell.
Extensive experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), REST APIs, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and C#.
Experience with SQL Server, and integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, Office 365).
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or equivalent certification.
Experience with migration tools like ShareGate or AvePoint.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
$115,000 - $135,000 a year
