That's what this start-up is doing! Join this noble mission by building a tech platform that brings the emerging world on par with health care services available in the developed world.

Founded by McKinsey execs, they're a team of 15 with €17.5M in funding to deploy on building an on-demand health care platform in South America, Africa and Asia. With more than 1.3 million registered users already, they now need to build a platform to bring to life another 15 countries. Speed, scale and quality are key.

I'm looking for a Backend Engineer to help them build the healthcare apps of the future. It's a remote role anywhere in Spain, with an office in Barcelona for those who prefer a hybrid model. The principal language is Node.js, and the rest of the stack includes React Native, GraphQL, NoSQL and AWS.

The opportunity is huge and they are expecting to be active in markets with a billion people within the next 36 months! 🚀

Responsibilities

    • Design and develop the business logic and backend systems and services 
    • Work closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional, performing and complete APIs
    • Ability to produce high-quality, self-documenting code by using test-driven development (TDD) techniques 
    • Build integration and connection to existing systems
    • Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
    • Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
