Ready to tackle new challenges and elevate your career?</p><p></p><p><b>What you will be doing: </b></p><ul><li>Use your skills with PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery to design, develop, maintain and support sophisticated web applications using an Agile methodology.</li><li>Participate in daily scrum meetings.</li><li>Analyze, test, and resolve issues with application software.</li><li>Adapt existing software to meet customer needs.</li><li>Collaborate with other team members to develop technical documentation.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>        Required Skills and Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. </li><li>A bachelor’s degree is preferred but candidates with an additional 4 years of experience may work in lieu of a degree.</li><li>3+ years of experience as a Software Developer using PHP to produce logically written, maintainable and testable code is required.</li><li>3+ years of experience working with MySQL or an SQL-based RDBMS. Additionally, understand database terminology, and be able to write complex queries joining multiple tables.</li><li>3+ years of experience creating user interfaces for web-based applications with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.</li><li>1+ year of experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.</li><li>1 year's proficiency in using PHP frameworks and libraries.</li><li>1 years’ experience with unit testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.</li><li>1 year’s versioning system experience i.e., SVN or GIT.</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.</li><li>Must live and do all work on this project in the United States.</li><li>Must have lived and worked in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.</li><li>US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required due to federal contract requirement.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Professional skills:</b></p><ul><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.</li></ul><p>      </p><p><b>Preferred Skills/Experience:</b></p><ul><li>AJAX experience in conjunction with jQuery.</li><li>Experience with Node.js</li><li>Experience with React.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.</li><li>Experience working on Agile development teams.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Working at ICF</b></u></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants.
