Summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Supervise, train, and develop the shipping and receiving team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and condition of all shipments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to shipping and receiving activities.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping and receiving operations.
