Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be working in a team of thought leaders to ensure client sites are online all the time and run at peak performance both at the application and infrastructure levels. You will provide time zone support for critical issues, contribute to product direction, and help inform our understanding of customer requirements and project KPIs. By implementing development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure, you'll play a crucial role in reviewing, verifying, and validating software code, managing stakeholders and external interfaces, troubleshooting and fixing code bugs, and continuously improving your skill set.

• Make client websites run FAST at the application and infra level

• Understand customer requirements and project KPIs
• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project
• Manage stakeholders and external interfaces
• Troubleshoot and fix code bugs
• Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible
• Identify and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Provide a high level of service by continually building your current skill set with a hunger for new knowledge and increasing understanding of the company product
• Undertake other duties as directed and required to meet operational needs

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Preferred technical skills:
• Authoring PowerShell scripts and modules, particularly utilising Az PowerShell
• Creating and configuring Azure RBAC, web apps, function apps, SQL PaaS, Front Door, virtual networks
• Management of Cloudflare DNS, security, caching
• Proficient with Git and enterprise branching strategies
• Securing DevOps and applications using Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory
• Understanding of running Node applications and writing TypeScript
• Authoring, configuring and managing build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Build process and pipelines for .NET Framework and Core apps
• Authoring Infrastructure as Code such as Azure ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform
• Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana
• Code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify
• Kubernetes cluster and application management
• Experience on collaboration tools such as Zendesk, Confluence, Lucid


• Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience working in DevOps and Agile environments with hands-on DevOps tooling
• Sitecore infrastructure or similar .NET based DXP application experience
• Certification in Microsoft AZ-400/Microsoft DevOps Engineer highly desirable.
