Software Developer

The Software Developer position is responsible for a variety of programming responsibilities that encompass a diverse set of projects for our clients. Our clients span across a broad range of industries, providing an exciting variety to the work being undertaken. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with a robust software development foundation. Our software developers operate within a team-oriented Agile environment, demonstrating strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and work independently when needed

Responsibilities:

• Complete software development tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate closely with software testers and software architects to ensure project requirements are met.
• Act as a technical resource for software architects during project planning.
• Attend client meetings to gather requirements, offer guidance, and create technical documentation for work items.
• Maintain and update work items, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders using Azure DevOps.
• Participate in weekly development staff meetings and bi-monthly continuous improvement meetings, actively contributing to the direction and growth of our team.
• Estimate work items accurately and track time spent on projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Engage in continuous education to stay abreast of the latest technologies and maintain and enhance technical skills.
• Demonstrate a dedicated commitment to the company values of being personable, adaptive, thoughtful, and honest

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, similar education experience, or comparable work experience.
• Web development skills with knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Software development skill with an object oriented programming language (C# is preferred).
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with source control (GIT preferred).
• Understanding of Agile Software Development Principals.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
