Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Learning Management Specialist with expertise in the Lectora eLearning Authoring Tool to join our learning and development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing eLearning content and the Learning Management System (LMS). You will lead efforts to enhance our training programs, working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure engaging, effective learning experiences. This position is fully remote, active Public Trust is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement eLearning courses and digital training materials using Lectora and other eLearning authoring tools.
    • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, learner management, reporting, and troubleshooting technical issues.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs and develop customized training solutions that align with organizational goals.
    • Ensure eLearning content is interactive, user-friendly, and optimized for different devices and platforms (desktop, mobile, etc.).
    • Create and implement assessment tools, quizzes, and simulations within the eLearning environment to measure learner engagement and knowledge retention.
    • Analyze and report on LMS metrics such as course completions, learner progress, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement of training initiatives.
    • Lead the development of learning paths and curricula for different departments, ensuring that training programs are aligned with career development and organizational objectives.
    • Maintain compliance with learning standards such as SCORM and xAPI to ensure compatibility across different systems and platforms.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for both learners and administrators using the LMS and eLearning courses.
    • Stay current with trends and advancements in eLearning technologies, instructional design methodologies, and best practices.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior instructional designers and LMS administrators.
