  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
  • US citizenship is required per the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is critical in leading complex electrical engineering projects and providing strategic direction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering design, project management, and team leadership. As a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing high-impact projects, mentoring engineering teams, and driving technological advancements. This is a 3 month contract to hire position.

    • Project Leadership: Lead and manage complex electrical engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, budget, and schedule.
    • Design and Development: Oversee the design, development, and validation of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electronic devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Innovation: Drive innovation in electrical engineering practices and technologies, exploring new methodologies and solutions to enhance project outcomes.
    • Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical expertise and guidance on electrical engineering issues, troubleshooting complex problems and developing effective solutions.
    • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead engineering teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.
    • Client and Stakeholder Management: Interface with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, present solutions, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce engineering standards, quality control procedures, and best practices to ensure the highest level of project quality and reliability.

Requirements

    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide engineers effectively.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Previous Navy or DoD engineering experience is highly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree or higher preferred).
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
    • US citizenship is required per the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred.
