As a Senior SCCM Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SCCM, demonstrating a deep understanding of system administration, deployment, and configuration management in a large enterprise environment. This is a 6 month contract to direct hire and requires an active Top Secret clearance.


    • Responsibilities:
    • SCCM Infrastructure Management:
    • Design, implement, and maintain SCCM infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
    • Manage and troubleshoot SCCM site hierarchy, distribution points, and software update points.
    • Application Packaging and Deployment:
    • Create, test, and deploy software packages using SCCM.
    • Collaborate with application owners and development teams to ensure seamless deployment and compatibility.
    • Operating System Deployment (OSD):
    • Develop and maintain standardized OS deployment images and task sequences.
    • Implement and manage OS deployment strategies for different hardware platforms.
    • Patch Management:
    • Oversee the patch management process, ensuring timely and efficient deployment of security and software updates.
    • Evaluate and test patches to minimize system downtime and maintain system security.
    • Configuration Management:
    • Implement and maintain configuration baselines and compliance settings.
    • Work closely with security teams to ensure systems comply with organizational security policies.
    • Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of SCCM infrastructure.
    • Generate regular reports on SCCM activities, compliance, and system health.
$60 - $72 an hour
